Beginner Brass For beginner brass, the Play Brass is good fun. We do lots of warm-up games and easy ensemble music, with a touch of jazz as well. Even if you can only play a few notes you will be able to join in. Straight after this is the Play Band where we join up with the beginner woodwind. Many players start with just these groups, but when you feel ready, you can stay on for the Brass Band. For the rest of the morning you could take part in the Play Orchestra or one of the Junior Groups. Junior Brass For Junior Brass (about Grades 2-3) you have the choice of the following : Junior Band Brass Band Musicianship classes Junior Orchestra Junior Big Band ... so there should be plenty to keep you occupied ! Advanced Brass Our more senior groups are open to the more advanced players (about grade 4 and upwards). These groups are often in demand to play at local concerts and events.
